Bradley Badger Failed to Notify NMIS of Outside Business Activities with Denari Capital

ohio stockbroker fraud attorneysBetween August and November 2012, Bradley Badger, of Pleasanton, CA, participated in a currency trading and real estate business named Denari Capital LLC, without providing prior written notice to Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC (NMIS), a FINRA Letter of Acceptance, Waiver and Consent (AWC) alleges.   Badger, whom worked with NMIS from August 2009 to November 6, 2012, and is not currently associated with a FINRA member firm, also participated in a private securities transaction by purchasing an interest in Denari Capital, but failed to provide prior written notice to NMIS, the AWC notes.

Badger Purchased $300,000 Interest in Denari, Failed to Provide Proper Written Notice

Badger also opened a bank account for Denari with two other former NMIS registered representatives, known as AS and TC. The currency trading and real estate business of Denari was outside the parameters of his employment relationship with NMIS, the AWC notes. Badger also failed to provide prior notice to NMIS of his involvement with Denari, whilst also purchasing a $300,000 interest in Denari while he was associated with NMIS, FINRA alleges.

Bradley Accepts Sanctions

Badger, whose actions broke FINRA and NASD rules and regulations, has consented to a suspension from association with any FINRA member firm for 30 days, and a fine of $10,000, the FINRA AWC alleges.
