Brokers use the F word – fiduciaries – ­­only when they want

A report released this week by the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association cited nine big brokerage houses for advertising as if they’re fiduciaries, but deny that standard and renounce any requirement to avoid conflicted advice in private arbitration hearings.
