Roanoke Investment Broker Donna Tucker Sentenced for Alleged Fraud

Investment fraud attorneysThe Peiffer Rosca Wolf investor rights lawyers are currently investigating Roanoke investment broker Donna Tucker, and planning to assist any investors who believe they have lost money as a result of her alleged fraud.

On December 22, a federal judge sentenced a Donna Tucker, 59, based on evidence that she sought to reprise the role of the holiday partypooper, allegedly stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from her dear old mother and father, and a blind couple, according to U.S. District Court documents currently being reviewed by attorneys Joe Peiffer and Alan Rosca.

In addition, the documents reveal that U.S. District Court Judge Michael Urbanski sentenced Donna Jessee Tucker to five years, and that her marks were all described as “elderly, trusting clients.”

Tucker had already pleaded guilty in August to one count of alleged wire fraud related to the theft of her parents’ money and one count of alleged tax evasion. The case, however, appears to have been more wide-ranging than criminal court proceedings had indicated.

According to a civil complaint filed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and currently being perused by attorneys Joe Peiffer and Alan Rosca, Tucker allegedly took advantage of six clients or couples in all.

Tucker previously worked at the Roanoke office of UBS Financial Services, which reportedly said that it put Tucker on leave when told of the original allegations of misappropriation in 2013. Tucker, a six-year employee, reportedly later quit while under internal investigation, according to the firm, which said it cooperated with authorities.
